I’d like to introduce myself to Pet Sox Nation. My name is Ty and I’m a Schoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle). I’m pretty smart, in fact I match wits with my owners all the time.
My favorite Red Sox thing is my Spring Training hat, (seen here). I almost made it down there last Spring. Instead I got the hat as a souvenir. Got to love those humans.
Like my profile says, my idle is Mike Lowell. I was rolling-over with joy the day he came back from rehab. He’s the best third-baseman in the league (no, not even A-Rod can touch him).
My favorite thing to do, besides rolling-over is to make my owners look stupid… bol, (that’s bark out loud in doggie internet lingo).

Meet Dixie and Tia, 2 adorable Shih Tzu’s are true Red Sox lovers. They can be found cheering “YEAH RED SOX” when someone gets a hit. Their favorite thing of all to eat are, what else… Fenway Franks!! They also like going for walks, car rides and all kinds of people. They are not too happy right now that the Yankees are in first place. Check out more of their pictures at their Profile and Gallery today.

Throughout much of the season - with the exception of the seven-out start in which he got nailed by a line drive against the Yankees - Jon Lester has been the ace of the Red Sox staff.
More than that, Lester has been one of the best pitchers in baseball.

Curt Schilling won't test out just how popular he is in Massachusetts. The former Boston Red Sox pitcher, beloved in the state for his starring role in ending an 86-year championship drought, announced Tuesday he isn't running for Edward M. Kennedy's seat in the U.S. Senate.

BALTIMORE - In the Red Sox clubhouse late yesterday afternoon, the calisthenics of sweeping the Orioles over with, players packed their bags quickly. Even in their haste to make a flight to Kansas City, they noticed the images flashing on the monitor above David Ortiz’s locker.
The television showed the Mariners pummeling the Yankees, a result that would slash the Red Sox’ deficit in the American League East to five games.

The catcher whipped his body around and took a roundabout route to the baseball. The ball had squirted out, a low curveball that stayed low on the bounce. And as Jason Varitek scampered after the ball, Chone Figgins ran to first base.

The curse came in the form of a giant white tarp, the one that spent most of the day on the field, and the one that mercifully ended the game early as the rain poured down.
That, of course, came after the Red Sox poured it on, making Tampa Bay, a team that had once been a favorite to make the postseason, look like a team ready for golf games in October.
But, more than that, the brief window of clear weather provided the Sox with a new look at their top arm. This was the Josh Beckett they were waiting for, the Josh Beckett who had dominated through May and June and July.

Josh Beckett and CC Sabathia have faced each other before on a grand stage. Never, however, under the bright lights of the storied rivalry that is Red Sox-Yankees.
